With Qing Pi, for intercostal pain due to Qi obstruction in the Liver channel.
Rx. Linderae Wu Yao 6g Promotes the movement of Qi, alleviates pain, warms the Kidneys and disperses Cold.
With Dang Gui and Xiang Fu, for menstrual pain.
With Dan Gui, disperses Cold and stops pain, for abdominal pain due to External Cold.
With Xiang Fu, for Qi and Blood Stagnation with menstrual irregularity, pain in the lower abdomen and generalized pain and distention throughout the body.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Liver Fire and reduces swelling from sores and abscesses.
With Chuan Xiong and Dang Gui, for Blood-Stasis induced gynecological disorders such as immobile abdominal masses and amenorrhea with abdominal pain.
With Xiang Fu, for flank pain, abdominal pain, and dysmenorrhea due to Qi and Blood Stagnation.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, speeds healing of chronic sores, alleviates pain, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With Chai u, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation with flank pain and distention, dysmenorrhea and irregular menstruation.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Viride Qing Pi 10g Spreads Liver Qi, breaks up Stagnant Qi, dissipates accumulations, reduces Food Stagnation, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Chai Hu and Yu Jin, for pain and distention in the chest, hypochondrium and flanks due to Disharmony between the Liver and Stomach.
With Xiang Fu, for pain and distention of the flanks due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
With San Leng, E Zhu and Yu Jin, for masses where prolonged Qi Stagnation has led to Blood Stagnation.
